The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following network dimensions (530mm x 220mm x 95mm = 11.08L) and thus offers a 30% larger inflow area and 100% more charge air volume compared to the original charge air cooler. A new competition high-performance network (tube fin) is used here, which was developed directly for the requirements of the Subaru WRX STi. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations for the best possible internal air flow. The inlets and outlets of the charge air cooler have not been changed. The back pressure of the charge air cooler is identical to the charge air cooler installed as standard. An anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties protects our intercoolers from environmental influences. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The assembly is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to do (plug and play). All of our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.
